Marketing services built around a changing heating market

We offer four services for heating companies. Which one comes first depends on your fuel mix, your province's rate calendar and how customers find you today.

Written by Ali Sedighi, MBALast updated:

Every service we offer for heating contractors starts from the same observation: heating demand in Canada moves with weather, rates and programs, and those three things differ by province. The right starting point for your company depends on which of them drives your phone. This page explains the four services and how to choose. We are a marketing and consulting team; we do not install, repair or service heating equipment.

Rate-change and program explainer pages

The short answer: start here if your customers keep asking what a rate decision or program change means for them.

Utility boards and regulators publish decisions in dense documents. Homeowners read a headline, then search for answers. A short, dated page on your own website that explains a decision for your service area, such as Ontario's July gas price change or a provincial rebate rule, answers that search with your name on it.

Best for: contractors in provinces with frequent rate or program news, such as Ontario's quarterly gas adjustments or BC's revised rebate rules. Details on the rate-change explainer pages service page.

Fuel-switching and replacement campaigns

The short answer: start here if a large share of your customers are weighing a change of fuel or system.

When heating oil rises 57.8% in a year, or an electric baseboard home sees its third straight increase, some owners start comparing options. These campaigns reach those homeowners with honest running-cost comparisons, current program information and a clear next step.

Best for: oil service and conversion companies in Atlantic Canada, heat pump installers in electric-heat regions, and hybrid-system specialists. See fuel-switching and replacement campaigns.

Local search for heating contractors

The short answer: start here if you are not showing up on Google Maps for searches in your own towns.

Most heating calls start with a local search: "furnace repair near me", "boiler service [town]", "heat pump installer [city]". Your Google Business Profile, local pages and reviews decide whether you appear. We build these around the towns you serve and the fuels you work with, not a generic national template.

Best for: almost every heating company, and especially those expanding into a new town or adding a fuel type. See local search for heating contractors.

The short answer: start here if you need calls this season and your organic visibility is still growing.

Google Ads can put you in front of homeowners within days. For heating, the hard part is timing: budgets should rise with cold forecasts and around rate or program dates, and fall when demand drops. We plan campaigns around your province's calendar.

Best for: companies with capacity to take more calls now, and those in markets where a cold snap reliably fills the board. See heating-season paid search.

How to choose

The short answer: match the service to your bottleneck, not to what a competitor is doing.

If your problem is… Start with
Customers can't find you locally Local search
Customers find you but ask the same rate and rebate questions Explainer pages
Many customers are on oil or electric baseboards and rates are rising Fuel-switching campaigns
You need calls this winter Heating-season ads

A worked example: if your average replacement job is worth $9,000 and your close rate on qualified calls is 30%, each extra qualified call is worth about $2,700 in revenue on average. Ten extra qualified calls a month would be worth about $27,000. That is the scale against which any marketing spend, including ours, should be judged. Use your own numbers; ours are only for illustration.

Prices for each plan are on the pricing page, and our results show what this approach produced for named HVAC clients. To talk through your market, call, text or email.

Frequently asked questions

Which service should a small heating company start with?

Usually local search. If customers cannot find your company on the map when they search for furnace or boiler help in your town, explainer pages and ads have less to build on.

Do I need all four services?

No. Many contractors start with one or two. The Growth and Elite plans bundle more of them; the Starter plan covers a website with service pages, local search and basic ads.

Do you work with oil heating companies?

Yes. Oil service, tank and conversion companies are a natural fit for fuel-switching and replacement campaigns, especially in Atlantic Canada where oil prices moved sharply in 2026.

Will you write about rate changes for my business?

Yes, that is the rate-change explainer service. We write the pages for your site, in your company's name, with dated sources.
